Animals
Students identify what animals need to survive. This provides a first step towards the study of animal habitats in later worksheets. Different animals eat different foods; students match the animals with their foods. Students classify animals as being plant eaters (herbivores), meat eaters (carnivores) or both plant and meat eaters (omnivores) in these life science worksheets.
Animals can be classified by how they move (run, swim, crawl, fly ...). In these worksheets, students match animals to how they move. We can also classify animals by their numbers of legs or wings. Students count and record the number of legs and wings of different animals and determine how they move (fly, run, swim or crawl).
