Subtract using objects

In these kindergarten worksheets students count objects to solve subtraction problems. Students see side by side the subtraction of objects and the subtraction of numbers. All numbers are less than ten.

In these kindergarten worksheets students count objects and then fill in the blanks to create a subtraction equation. They then find the difference either by counting or recalling math facts. All numbers are less than ten.

Below are 3 versions of our kindergarten worksheets where students add or subtract 1 or 2 from a number using both pictures and numbers. All numbers are less than 10. Switching between addition and subtraction reinforces the meaning of both operations.
